As World Ozone Day approaches on September 16th, the Centre for Environment Justice and Development (CEJAD, invites everyone to join in celebrating the World Ozone Day as the world celebrates the achievements of the Montreal Protocol in fixing the ozone layer and reducing climate change thus the theme Montreal Protocol: Advancing Climate Action.
World Ozone Day, marking the signing of the Montreal Protocol in 1987, celebrates global efforts to reduce ozone-depleting substances. The protocol’s success is evident as there is a gradual reduction in the ozone hole's size and severity, which are signs of recovery.
