As we mark 10 years since we started the work to promote sound chemicals and waste management, we take pride in the growth the organization has witnessed and achievements through successful and impactful projects we have implemented. For the last 10 years we, have grown tremendously. In 2012 we only had two staff supporting our activities, but today we take pride in having over 10 staff managing and implementing various projects.
Our expansion has seen us accommodate learners on internship and attachment positions for university learners to learn from our organization. This not only demonstrate growth in number but capacity to manage projects to implement our objectives as an organization.
Further, it’s not just our team that has grown, but also the partnerships and collaborations that CEJAD has established nationally, regionally, and internationally with various organizations which have enabled us grow in our project implementations in our core programs namely; End Plastic Pollution and Waste Management, Mercury Elimination and Minamata Convention, Highly Hazardous Pesticides Elimination, Lead Paints Elimination and Reduction of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).
